Animal Exploitation
The distress created by the dairy and egg industry is probably less well-publicized than the situation of factory-farmed animals. The composition of dairy products requires the death of innumerable male calves that are of no advantage to the dairy farmer and the unanticipated death of cows butchered when their milk production declines. Yet the unfortunate truth is that all living animals (even those labelled ‘free range’ or ‘organic’) do fear extinction, just as we do. No interest in how they are managed when alive; they all undergo the same fear of butchery.
Good News
The great news is there IS something we can do concerning it. Every time we shop or order food in an eatery, we can help these animals every moment we consume. Every time we shift from animal goods to vegan ones, we end up for farmed animals everywhere. Being a vegan is much more relaxed than ever earlier, with veganism shifting increasingly mainstream as the larger and larger audience from all pathways of life discovers the advantages of living this process.
