On March 2nd 2025, AWBP Trust actively participated in the Lalaland Flea – 6th Edition at HITEX, Hyderabad, engaging with hundreds of visitors and spreading awareness about animal welfare and rights. The event#144 proved to be an incredible platform for meaningful conversations, hands-on activities, and impactful contributions to our cause.
A Heartwarming Gesture by School Students
One of the most inspiring moments of the event was when a group of school students, accompanied by their parents, visited our stall. These young changemakers had independently raised ₹10,000 to support our NGO and donated it with immense enthusiasm and dedication to animal welfare. Their initiative not only touched our hearts but also served as a shining example of compassion and proactive responsibility toward animals.
Engaging Activities and Interactions
Throughout the event, AWBP Trust interacted with individuals of all age groups, offering various engaging activities that helped deepen their understanding of animal welfare:
- Bowl Painting Activity: Many visitors enthusiastically participated in painting water bowls, making it a fun and creative way to support our mission.
- Water Bowl Distribution: Several attendees took home water bowls, pledging to provide clean water for animals in their local areas all year round.
- Ahimsa Storybook – “The Journey of Bunty and Chinku”: Visitors explored our educational materials, with 30 copies of this inspiring book distributed to spread awareness about kindness and non-violence toward animals.
- Kindness Art Display: Our collection of artwork depicting messages of compassion drew significant attention, with some visitors making donations and picking up pieces to support our cause.
- Animal-Centric Invention Showcase: We educated attendees on the importance of protecting animals from small sharp objects and demonstrated innovative solutions designed to ensure their safety.
Impact Created
The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Here’s a snapshot of our contributions at Lalaland Flea:
- 25 water bowls distributed to individuals committed to providing clean water to animals.
- 30 book copies shared with visitors to promote kindness and awareness.
