Amritha Alapati joined as a volunteer in AWBP Trust on 21 November 2021; she played a couple of roles in the trust, primarily as an access point lead; she also did a few content works relevant to the ongoing project activities of the trust.
Access Point Lead
As an access point lead, she was highly proactive in getting the work done. So whenever the water bowls were unavailable at the access point locations, she followed up with us and ensured that the bowls were refilled again at the various sites as quickly as possible. As an access-point lead, she also used to give the bowls to the right people on time without any issues. This enabled us to freely distribute water bowls upon request by the individuals who reached us through various modes. Amritha also did a few content activities for the trust, and she did an excellent job on the content side whenever we needed it.
Fundraising Capabilities
Her significant contribution is working as a fundraiser for raising funds for the organization at critical junctures when there was a dire fund crunch in the organization. She rose to this challenge and took up the responsibility of raising funds successfully for our organization. Her effort needs to be admired, as she did outstanding, productive work for the trust in her role.
The other significant responsibility she handled was the fundraising part, a critical function for the trust to sustain. When we required funds, she did help the trust by graciously donating the amount to us personally, assisting the trust as a donor. Apart from being a donor several times to us, she actively contributed as a fundraiser to the trust.
Amrita helped the organization do essential activities with those funds through her fundraising capability. We can say that Amritha has raised approximately close to two lakhs. Therefore, we have driven the funds, from Amritha, as a donation from her individually and funds from others through Amritha’s contacts as a fundraiser in her involvement with us.
Network Building
She constantly helped the organization by connecting us to some important delegates who are part of media and other areas. Those contacts are helpful in taking our project vision forward.
Recognition
So it’s a pleasure to consider and recognize Amritha Alapati as one of the performers in the organization, and AWBP Trust will surely reward her as recognition for her contribution. It’s a pleasure to thank her on behalf of AWBP trust. Currently, she is working as an access point lead, and whenever possible, she always pitches in for us as a fundraiser and content writer. We are thankful to have Amritha in our organization; she felt delighted to be part of the trust.
We encourage and request Amritha to continue her support as a volunteer as part of the team to do well in the coming days and to take this project vision forward together as a team.
