On 18th February 2023, the English edition of “The Journey of Bunty & Chinku” was released with a clear purpose — to promote community responsibility, collective well-being, and the importance of coexistence between humans, animals, and nature. The book was not merely a story; it was a reflection of values needed in today’s society.

Recognizing the power of regional language in creating deeper emotional connection, the team envisioned a Telugu edition to reach a broader audience. Language carries culture, thought, and identity. By bringing the book into Telugu, the message of empathy and responsibility could resonate more strongly with readers who understand and feel deeply in their mother tongue.

A Prestigious Launch by a Literary Icon

The official Telugu edition was launched on 18th February 2026 by Shri Yandamuri Veerendranath garu, one of the most respected novelists and screenwriters in Telugu literature.

His works courageously address pressing social issues in India — including poverty, prejudices, and superstitions — encouraging individuals to become socially responsible citizens. He is admired for successfully bridging idealistic values with popular literary styles, making meaningful messages accessible to a wide readership. Having such a distinguished literary personality launch the Telugu edition added profound credibility and inspiration to the occasion. It symbolized a meeting of purpose-driven storytelling and socially conscious literature.

A Launch Beyond Formality

The event was intimate yet impactful. Copies of the Telugu edition were unveiled, marking a new chapter in the journey of Bunty and Chinku. The visual backdrop of the book’s artwork — depicting harmony between humans and animals — reinforced the central message of coexistence.

As a token of gratitude, a photo frame symbolizing coexistence was presented to Shri Yandamuri Veerendranath garu. The frame represented harmonious living between humans, animals, and nature — the very essence of the book. Additionally, a thoughtfully crafted bird nest was gifted, symbolizing shelter, care, and environmental responsibility. These gestures reflected that the event was rooted not just in celebration, but in values.

Extending the Impact to Young Minds

The journey did not end with the book launch. It continued with action.

After the successful event, the team visited a government school in Bachupally to share the book’s message with educators and students. The interaction with faculty members was encouraging and constructive. Discussions were held about integrating themes of coexistence, empathy, and community responsibility into young minds.

The school authorities welcomed the idea of reading and utilizing the book for students’ moral and intellectual development. Mr. Mahesh, one of the teachers, appreciated the initiative of introducing coexistence as a foundational value in education. He expressed particular interest in the effort to nurture responsibility at an early age and suggested connecting with the higher school principal, who supports meaningful educational initiatives.

The visit demonstrated that literature can go beyond reading — it can become a tool for shaping character and consciousness.

With great commitment, she ensured the essence of the original work remained intact, without deviating from its core message. Because of her sincere efforts, this book is now able to meaningfully reach and connect with the Telugu-speaking community.

Community Participation and Support

The day’s success was also strengthened by the presence and participation of Akhila, Amulya, Pradeep, Harish, and Sahithi, who dedicated their valuable time to be part of the occasion. Their involvement reflected a shared belief in spreading constructive and socially responsible content.

Every initiative aimed at social transformation thrives on collective effort, and their support added warmth and encouragement to the event.

More Than a Book — A Movement of Values

The Telugu edition of “The Journey of Bunty & Chinku” represents more than a translation; it signifies expansion of purpose. At a time when society faces increasing disconnect from nature and rising social challenges, literature that promotes responsibility, empathy, and coexistence becomes essential.

The launch by a renowned literary figure, the symbolic gestures of gratitude, and the outreach to educational institutions together reflect a consistent commitment — not just to publish a book, but to cultivate a value-driven community.

As Bunty and Chinku’s journey continues in Telugu, the message remains clear:
Change begins with awareness, responsibility begins with individuals, and coexistence begins with compassion.
