The Realization – Content Reflects Society

On 17th February 2026, at BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, a powerful idea unfolded inside a classroom filled with attentive young minds. Lakshman Molleti, Founder of AWBP Trust and author of The Journey of Bunty & Chinku,” began the session with a deep reflection — every good or bad change in society is ultimately reflected through the content individuals create. Whether it is an article, a poem, a book, a short film, or even a social media post, content shapes thought patterns. If humanity is facing challenges like poverty, pollution, violence, lack of coexistence, and declining well-being, then creators must ask themselves — are we addressing these issues responsibly through what we produce?

The Vision – Becoming an Author with Responsibility

With this concern in mind, Lakshman introduced the purpose behind the dedicated session, “Be The Author of Change.” The session was not limited to motivating students to write a book. Its deeper intention was to guide individuals step-by-step in transforming into authors while understanding the social responsibility that comes with content creation. He emphasized that writing is not just a creative act; it is a moral responsibility. An author has the power to influence society positively or negatively, and that awareness must guide the creative process.

The Experience – Interactive and Engaging Learning

The session was highly interactive. Students were seated in small round-table groups, creating a collaborative environment. Lakshman moved among them with a microphone, inviting opinions, encouraging participation, and making every student feel included. Slides projected behind him traced the journey of his book — from idea formation, documentation, team building, reviews, proofreading, legal agreements, and final publication. Instead of theoretical explanations, he shared real-time scenarios from his own experiences, making the process practical and achievable.

To keep the atmosphere energetic, quizzes were introduced between discussions, encouraging students to think critically about responsibility, animal welfare, and community impact. The classroom was not silent — it was alive with questions, reflections, and thoughtful conversations.

Storytelling – Lessons from Bunty & Chinku

Using “The Journey of Bunty & Chinku” as a foundation, Lakshman connected storytelling with real-life values. The book’s journey illustrated friendship, teamwork, patience, courage, honesty, and adaptability during challenges. When he spoke about animals and coexistence, the room grew reflective. Students began to see writing not merely as storytelling but as a medium to create empathy and awareness. The personal mention of his dog added warmth and relatability, especially for students who deeply connect with animals.

Knowledge Shared – From Writing to Publishing

One of the most valuable takeaways for participants was learning the complete process of book writing and publishing. They understood how to structure content, the importance of copyright, the role of editing and reviews, and the practical steps required to publish confidently. Many students realized that becoming an author is not a distant dream but a structured journey that requires clarity, commitment, and teamwork.

The session also inspired students to consider turning their hobbies into meaningful career paths. Writing, they learned, can be both purposeful and impactful.

Student Reflections – What Resonated Most

Feedback from the 42 participants highlighted several impactful aspects of the session. Students appreciated the engagement and friendly interaction that made the environment comfortable. They admired the simple and confident storytelling style that made complex ideas easy to understand. The clarity of content delivery, positivity in approach, and transparency in sharing real-life struggles were highly valued. Many mentioned that the session made them rethink their responsibility as content creators.

They also learned about the importance of empathy towards animals and the broader responsibility of contributing positively to society. For many, the session was not just informative but transformative.

Conclusion – A Beginning of Responsible Creation

“Be The Author of Change” concluded, but its central message remained strong — content is powerful, and with power comes responsibility. The session planted a seed of awareness in 42 young minds, encouraging them to question the impact of their words, ideas, and creative expressions.

If even one participant chooses to create content that addresses real challenges, promotes coexistence, and uplifts society, then the mission of the session has already begun to succeed.

This was not just a lecture — it was the beginning of many future Authors of Change.
