On the vibrant morning of March 20th, 2024, the fifth Drive for a Cause took place in the bustling locality of Kondapur, Hyderabad. Spearheaded by Sahithi Annamraju, whose proposal ignited the initiative to raise awareness and provide water bowls for community animals in Kondapur, the event marked a significant step towards serving the needs of our community animals.
Sahithi Annamraju’s heartfelt commitment to the cause shone through as she not only proposed the idea but also graciously offered to sponsor the event. Her dedication and support serve as a beacon of inspiration for all of us at AWBP Trust, reaffirming our belief in the power of collective action for the betterment of our community.
The event kicked off around 9:30 am as we loaded water bowls into our rental car, ready to embark on our mission to make a difference. Our first stop was Kondapur, where we engaged with local residents, spreading awareness about the importance of providing water bowls for community animals. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their eagerness to contribute to the cause.
From Kondapur, our journey continued to Lakdikapul, where we spent a total of 8 hours interacting with the community and distributing water bowls to those in need. In just a single day, we were able to distribute 15 water bowls, benefiting a total of 75 animals in the area.
