A Day of Awareness, Compassion, and Community Engagement – 16th Nov 2025

AWBP Trust proudly completed its 150th event on 16th November 2025 at HITEX, Hyderabad. Over the years, the organization has successfully conducted a wide range of online and offline events across India, each designed to uplift animal welfare and inspire communities to take compassionate action. This landmark event was held as part of a flea market organized by the LALALAND Team, who generously offered a stall to AWBP Trust as part of a social collaboration.

A Fresh, Trendy, and Impactful Stall Setup

For this milestone, the AWBP Trust team curated a uniquely designed and vibrant stall, decorated with bold and thoughtful slogans such as:

  • “BE A HERO FOR ALL ANIMALS”
  • “VIBE WITH US IN SOCIAL CAUSE”

These compelling statements, combined with creative visuals, helped attract a large number of visitors, offering the team an opportunity to engage deeply with diverse age groups and families.

Activities That Inspired and Educated

The event featured a series of meaningful and interactive activities, all centered around animal welfare and mindful coexistence:

🌿 Activities at the Stall

  • Water bowl distribution to encourage visitors to provide safe drinking water to needy animals.
  • Distribution of “The Journey of Bunty & Chinku” Book – AWBP Trust’s original education book designed to raise awareness through storytelling.
  • Art workshop using natural, cruelty-free colors, especially appealing to children and young learners and other age grous as well.
  • Artwork showcase featuring illustrations and messages related to empathy, coexistence, and sustainability.
  • Bird feeding and nest display to educate apartment dwellers and gated-community residents on how they can still contribute to the welfare of birds and small animals.
  • Awareness sessions explaining the importance of water for animals and the growing challenges created by human activities.

Many children participated enthusiastically in the art workshop, painting on a reusable canvas using plant-based, chemical-free colors. Visitors also expressed immense interest in the educational book and artwork, with several choosing to donate to support the cause.

For visitors who could not keep animal water bowls in their premises due to apartment rules, the team suggested impactful alternatives like installing bird feeders and nests in balconies, ensuring every individual could still contribute meaningfully.

The team successfully achieved the awareness and outreach goals set for the event.

A Unique Sustainable Initiative

A notable highlight of the event was AWBP Trust’s introduction of reusable canvas boards and natural colors in the art activity.
The organization has been researching sustainable alternatives to chemical paints, and this event marked a significant step forward in implementing eco-friendly practices.

Visitors appreciated the concept, noting it as an innovative and insightful experience. Many expressed interest in trying natural colors at home—a small yet meaningful shift toward mindful living. AWBP Trust plans to continue using and promoting natural colors at future events, both to protect animals and to reduce environmental harm.

A Memorable Moment With a Young Visitor

One heartwarming incident became the emotional highlight of the day.

A 6th-grade boy approached the stall, deeply drawn to “The Journey of Bunty & Chinku.” The team encouraged him to return with a parent before collecting the book. After about 30 minutes, he returned with his mother.

While his mother showed interest in taking a free animal water bowl for her home, she initially declined the book. As they walked away, one of our volunteers noticed the boy gently trying to convince his mother, expressing his love for the book. The team reunited with them and chose to gift the book to the child, appreciating his genuine interest. Though he insisted on making a donation, the team requested him to instead use that amount to feed animals and be a young leader for animal welfare.

We clicked a photo together — a moment filled with joy, sincerity, and shared compassion.
This touching interaction left a lasting impression on the entire team.

Teamwork That Made the Day

The event was powered by the dedicated efforts of:
Neha, Tharun, Ayesha, Jahnavi, Lokesh, and Lakshman

Each team member stayed fully committed to their responsibilities — supporting each other, staying alert, and working with the shared intention of creating a greater impact for animals. Their coordinated effort also helped raise valuable funds for AWBP Trust.

Special thanks to Akarsha, our plant-based food sponsor, for ensuring the team stayed energized. The Trust also provided snacks and beverages to keep volunteers active and hydrated throughout the day.

A Meaningful Conclusion

The event concluded on a positive and fulfilling note, successfully spreading awareness and inspiring people to take compassionate steps for animals. AWBP Trust looks forward to participating in similar events and continuing its mission to create an empathetic and responsible community.
