We have an intern Rishika Thakur, studying at Flame University, Pune, who did one month of internship with AWBP Trust and had a fabulous experience while working in different roles with AWBP Trust.
To meet the academic requirements, Flame university students must do social work as per the student’s preference. The university measures the students’ grades based on their performance and the feedback received from the interning organization.
Rishika’s Passion Towards Animal Welfare
Since childhood, Rishika has always been passionate about the cause of animal welfare and planned to work in an animal welfare organization that is aligned with her heart. To fulfil her cherished dream, she searched and reached out to various organizations in the animal welfare field. But, she couldn’t find work that would satisfy her; while reaching out to organizations, she heard about AWBP Trust and its activities from her family and contacted us.
She connected with us as she was excited to work in an organization she believed was a right fit for her. We were excited about her candidature. Therefore, we took it as an opportunity and reached out to her. We spoke to her through a mutual discussion about her interests, passions, and skills to ensure she’s a perfect fit for what we were looking for. During this time, we received an official email from Flame university confirming her availability during her internship with us.
About Internship Program
The internship at AWBP Trust is a six-week program that extended slightly more than a month. Rishika worked with us seven hours every day from Monday to Friday. So as part of the internship, she joined our organization and worked from 23rd May’22 until 1st July’22. During her internship with us, Rishika engaged with us in different responsibilities related to content writing, poster designing, and digital marketing responsibilities for the organization.
Rishika’s Internship Experience
She did commendable, good work during her internship with us. She was highly productive, was disciplined to be on time for the job, and used to attend all the calls as part of her work diligently. As part of her work, we used to have daily calls with her, and whatever task was given to her by us, she used to do it in the best possible way. During her initial work stint with us, after observing her unique work style, we understood her comfort level and where she’s being good at, and accordingly, we have designed a plan for her based on her passions and strengths.
Through Rishika’s effort and contribution, we completed a few vital engagements during her one-month internship with our organization. During her training, Rishika continuously did an excellent job. She did share her feedback with us in the form of suggestions, and ideas, that were informative and effective from the organization’s viewpoint that our organization can reflect on and consider. Overall, Rishika did a commendable job productively, as our organization enjoyed Rishika’s presence.
After completing the internship program, Flame University asked us to submit a certificate, as per their format, and also asked us for a survey to be filled. We have done that and submitted it to the university. To recognize and reward Rishika for the sincere efforts that she put into during the internship with us, we also separately gave an E-Certificate to Rishika as per the process of AWBP Trust.

Rishika was very satisfied and happy to work with us in all the opportunities she provided during her internship. She said she would be glad to recommend us among her contacts and college juniors whenever possible.
